Introduction for the users:

This is a compact version of the teaching-learning arrangement Self-evaluation of strengths and weaknesses (self learning material). The teaching-learning arrangements (TLA) is well-timed feasible and individually adaptable.

The working materials presented in the manual are complete, they do not need any modification, and they are ready to be used in the classroom.

There is a clear focus on the work processes in the retail sector. The achievement of the technical and professional skills helps the student to improve his/her relationship performances, which are based on the self-knowledge of the knowledge of the group.

Three characteristics are put into practice through the use of three tools:

1. The role-play, which simulates a concrete situation that could arise in the retail sector.
2. 'Employee of the month', which identifies the best student in relation to a particular acitivity.
3. Self-assessment, wish pushes the student to develop a critical sense of his/her skills, strengths and  weaknesses.
