Self-reflection

What is the aim of TLA?
The exercises aim to help students develop the skills of managing tasks within a timeframe, determine their importance and urgency and gauge the time they will take and hence to organise their day.
In which every-day situations do we need time management competencies?
Time management is essential to planning everyday duties, such as studying, housework, organising working time and effective use of free time, as well as to planning further education and professional development within an ever-changing labour market.
What are the consequences of not planning our time?
If we do not plan our time, it can be difficult to complete all relevant activities, and we may forget important issues.
Why is it important for our time management to determine the importance and urgency of planned tasks?tance and urgency of planned tasks in time management?
This enables us to create a schedule based on our priorities and on importance and urgency. This allows us to schedule the most important activities and, where necessary, to postpone those that are not urgent.
Is daily planning a difficult and time-consuming activity?
Scheduling activities for a given day is not difficult or time-consuming if it is done systematically, carefully and in good time. Furthermore, planning the time required to perform tasks can save time and planning effort, especially for the most important activities.
What is the role of the teacher in developing time management competencies?
The role of the teacher is to make students aware that rational time management is necessary to reduce stressful situations in life. The teacher should also indicate the most effective ways of time management (with the use of the materials and models provided).
Personal and social competencies cannot be developed in the short term and sporadically. Learners need to develop continuous reflection on their actions through suitably modelled learning approaches. What do you think about this?
Against this background, the question arises as to how you intend to plan and implement long-term learning processes. Which concrete personal and social competencies should be promoted?
Which learning opportunities shouldbe used to achieve this?
Which support systems play a decisive role?
What obstacles have to be overcome? Create a strategy plan and document it. This plan can provide you with an important basis for planning further lessons.
